Your one-stop shop. Literally.
It all started during one fall movie night with four friends reminiscing on past projects during the 2023 strikes. A discussion on costume sourcing turned into a passionate brainstorm of what impact a local “costume collective” could make in the area.
From that moment, it was hard to shake the idea and Last Looks Costumes was born. Our mission: To create a costume house that fulfills the need for local rental and supply, provides an environment for costumers to learn and connect, and strengthens Wilmington as a film hub of North Carolina.
Last Looks Costumes is a costumer’s resource for quality rentals, kits, and resources in the Wilmington area. With sustainability and quality at the top of our values, we bring our 10+ years of combined experience and relationships to every project.
Bella Whitehead
When you reach out to Last Looks, Bella is the first person you’ll talk to to start the rental process. She’ll be your resource to get more information on how to get started with us, finalize your rental, and support you through the process.
Bella has been working in costumes for film and television for about 2 years. Her projects include Netflix’s The Out-Laws, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Zoey 102, Outer Banks, and more. While in college, Bella studied Apparel Production and Design, learning the ins and outs of garment construction. To this day, she still enjoys making clothing for her and friends. Her love for costuming began when Bella worked in her college theatre costume department, leading her to now work full-time in the industry.
“I am excited to bring a costume rental house here to life in Wilmington with some of my fellow costumers. I believe that each piece of clothing is a work of art with a unique story to tell and I can’t wait to see what stories our collection will be a part of.”
When she’s not on set or sourcing new inventory, she enjoys reading, watching early 2000’s chick flicks, cooking, and spending time with her adorable cat, Margot.
Lizzie Lovett
With a “closet” like ours, you need someone who can handle it all. From ensuring our items are in top shape, to helping you source exactly what your team needs, Lizzie is your go-to. She manages every asset from acquisition to delivery.
Lizzie is a costume designer, digital artist, and craftsperson working in Wilmington, NC since 2021. She went to UNCW for Theatre and Film, and UNC School of the Arts for a Masters in Costume Design. Her credits range from Costume Coordinator on The Summer I Turned Pretty, to Costume Designer for local indie films like A Song For Imogene.
“I’m proud to be a part of the team at Last Looks as we build our costume rental business in Wilmington. Supporting other artists and storytellers through my love of costumes is a dream come true. Our growing inventory will become a valuable resource for our community, and I look forward to every step of that journey.”
When she’s not working on shows, she creates art assets for her family’s board game business. She explores new techniques of sewing and crafting with personal design projects. One might think she’s a workaholic, but that's the nature of callings, isn't it?
Cat Corkery
When you see us out at markets, that’s the handy work of Cat. She manages our community involvement and partnerships with other local businesses. If you’re interested in partnering with Last Looks as a trusted partner, you’ve gotta go through her!
After studying Visual Arts and Psychology in college, Cat has been working in costumes for over 5 years on projects like Reprisal, Scream 5, ISS, Summer I Turned Pretty, and more.
She uses her artistic skills for aging/dyeing, and on set to make “movie magic” on the fly. Cat has costumes in her blood, with her experience on-set and network, she is a go-to for all things costuming.
“I’m inspired by Farrell’s Costumes Ltd., the opportunity to build a place for locals to browse and work personally with a rental house is important to me. I look forward to expanding to workshops to help build up future costumers and connect them with the great Film/TV community we have in Wilmington.”
Off-set, Cat is creating art through drawing and painting. You can find her on the weekends traveling, thrifting, and spending quailty time with family and friends.
